Dolce Hotels and Resorts was founded in 1981 in Houston, Texas. Today, we have a Europe office in London and approximately 4,000 employees, many who have been with the Dolce since its inception. In total, we manage approximately 5,000 rooms.
The company was founded by Andy Dolce after successful careers in other industries. A stint with the American Management Association, where he ran hundreds of meetings around the country, allowed him to experience many different facilities for meetings. The difference in productivity from a good to a bad experience led him to pioneer the first Conference Center Concept and Complete Meeting Package (CMP) for the meetings industry. Andy Dolce is a former board member and past president of International Association of Conference Centers (IACC).
Innovation is a Dolce company hallmark and Andy Dolce created the first Complete Meeting Package to allow meeting planners a convenient, complete, easy-to-understand pricing and one-stop-shop alternative for its clients. Dolce takes care of all the details, so the meeting planner doesn’t have to.
The success of the company’s principles allowed Dolce to secure multi-national clients and expand into Europe and led many hotels to adopt its standards, that are now, fortunately, industry standards.
