Dolce Norwalk

At Dolce Norwalk, we pride ourselves on taking care of the environment. It is important to our company and culture that we give back. Each department at Dolce Norwalk lends a hand to support our effort in fully becoming a green conference center.

  • Our award winning chef, not only provides top notch cuisine, he also composts, uses biodegradable containers, and grows his own vegetables and herbs in our property's garden.
  • Our plentiful coffee breaks provide guests with bulk condiment options.
  • Our diligent housekeeping staff abides by the linen and towel reuse program.
  • We offer the option of alternating bottled water for water pitchers and bulk coolers upon request.
  • We recycle by recycling every substance possible: cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, and tin cans.
  • Biofilters certified by the Department of Environmental Protection are used so that building and parking lot runoff is not polluted with oil and gasoline from cars.
  • Lighting has been replaced with energy efficient fluorescents.
  • We are open to your suggestions of reducing your carbon footprint throughout your meeting and stay with us.

"Going Green" at Dolce Norwalk is an ongoing process - we strive to build awareness and continually update our standards as new initiatives are discovered.
